COACH RANDY:
NANCY: Nancy became a part of Gymnastfactory in the year 2000. She attended Abilene Christian University and Pepperdine University. You’ll find her lovely smile greeting you at the front desk where she serves her multifaceted position as service/personnel director. If you have any questions about Gymnastfactory, Nancy is the surefire resource for information.
COACH CAMEO:
COACH ALISHA: As a competitive gymnast Coach Alisha found her love for gymnastics. She was a member of the U.S. National Team for two years in a row. One of which competitions she finished third in the Nation on vault. In 1997, Coach Alisha attended University of Houston with a track & field scholarship and finished with a B.S. in Health Education. In addition to her gymnastics accolades, Coach Alisha also represented Team USA at the World Track & Field Championships held in Havana, Cuba in 1997. Coach Alisha has been teaching gymnastics for almost 9 years, the last 2 with the Gymnast Factory working with competitive girls and recreational gymnastics.
COACH MICHAEL: Coach Michael is a native Texan who was born in Galveston, resided in the greater Houston area. He graduated college with a degree in Maritime Administration and is a licensed Realtor. He was a gymnast for 9 years and has coached for 8 years and holds a Junior Olympic certification for Judging. He has coached children of all levels of the sport from beginning levels through National Championship. Coach Michael works with our Boys’ Competitive Team and recreational classes.
COACH TOM: Coach Tom is the founder and President/CEO of the Gymnast Factory.
For 25 years, he has nurtured this business to a maximum level of
potential, productivity, and integrity. His responsibilities at the Gymnast
Factory include creation, instruction, direction, building construction,
finance, and counseling.
Before opening the doors of the Gymnast Factory, he was the Magnet
Coordinator at Roberts Elementary School (HISD), and a gymnastics
coach at both Torrance California Parks & Recreation Dept. and at
Abilene Christian University. He has a B.S.Ed. Secondary Teaching
Certification from Abilene Christian University, and all levels Physical
Education Texas teaching certification from the University of Houston.
His memberships and certifications include USAG Professional Member,
USAG Safety Certification, USAG founding member, American Gymnastics
Association founding member, TAHPERD member (Texas Assoc. of
Health, Physical Education, Recreation, & Dance), and USGF Professional
Member. Mr. Brewer is a featured clinician and consultant for TAHPERD,
Houston ISD, and Spring Branch ISD.
TRISH:Trish was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She has called Houston her home for the past 25 years. Eight years ago she walked through our doors as a customer and now she is one of the staff. Trish assists Nancy with the front office and various projects. She enjoys reading, scrap booking, and spending time with family. When not at the gym Trish works as a nanny.
COACH KAYVIN: Coach Kayvin was born in Belize, but has been here in Houston for as long as he can remember. He did gymnastics through high school and trained under Kevin Mazeika here at the Gymnast Factory. After his time here he went on to the US Military to be part of the 82nd Airborne out of Fort Bragg in North Carolina. He has been back at the Gymnast Factory for about a year and works with our Boys’ competitive team as well as our recreational classes.

COACH CHRIS: Born in Beeville, Texas, Coach Chris is no stranger to Texas. Some of his hobbies are snowboarding, motor cross, and surfing. Coach Chris also enjoys trying out some of his gymnastics skills on the trampoline and the floor exercise. He has been coaching gymnastics for three years and has competitive experience of his own under his belt. He is C.P.R. and first aid certified. At the Gymnast Factory Coach Chris works with the Trampoline Team and our recreational classes.
COACH DAVID: As a Houston native, Coach David cheered in high school and as well at Rice University, where he received a B.A. in Art and Art History. Currently a Producer at Houston Media Source, he has a love for film and has been airing projects on the HMS Channel for nearly 5 years (almost won an award for making a Gymnast Factory PSA!) Coach David is the GF Program Director as well as a recreational gymnastics, cheerleading, and power tumbling coach. Coach David also serves as our in house webmaster/media/publishing/art director.
COACH DAVID HENRY: David has been involved with Gymnastics for most of his life. Originally from Beaumont, Texas, he competed as an elite gymnast and then retired. Since then he has served as the head coach at Texas Sports Ranch from 1999 to 2005. Now he coaches boys and girls teams at Gymnastfactory.
COACH MARY: Coach Mary has been part of the Gymnast Factory family for 11 years. As a young 6 year old Mary started her gymnastics adventure. She was a member of the Girls’ competitive team through level 8 when she retired to become part of the Cheer Team. After Cheer, she joined the tramp team where she competed at level 10. Coach Mary has been coaching at the Gymnast Factory for 2 years helping with our Girls’ and Trampoline Teams. She also enjoys teaching recreational classes and camps. Mary is now a Sophomore at USC.
COACH DUSTIN: Coach Dustin grew up in LaPorte, Texas and began his coaching career in 1995 coaching advanced gymnastics and cheer tumbling. He has attended multiple optional level camps, mini congresse and national congress. Coach Dustin continues to enhance his coaching repertoire and better his knowledge by attending optional camps. Coach Dustin is also designer at an engineering firm and at Gymnast Factory he enjoys coaching with our girls’ program.
COACH DARCY:
COACH MITCI: Coach Mitci comes to the Factory from Bulgaria where he competed as a member of the Bulgarian National Gymnastics Team. Coach Mitci was also an Assistant Coach to the Bulgarian National Junior Team. He is now one of Gymnast Factory’s Boys’ Team coaches and you’ll recognize him as the tough guy with the big friendly smile.
COACH CAMERON: Coach Cameron is originally from League City, Texas and graduated from Iowa State with a BS in Sport Management. Cameron began gymnastics training because of the 1996 Olympics and competed up to level 8 before going to college. She's been coaching for 7 years and recently made a comback to level 8 competing for Gymnast Factory. Cameron enjoys coaching beginners to compulsories.
COACH RICHARD: Coach Richard grew up in Houston, Texas and is currently attending UH. In addition to studying computer science and history, Coach Richard is also a member of the UH Cougars Cheer Squad. Coach Richard enjoys teaching gymnastics, cheer and power tumbling classes.
